GOO GOO DOLLS LET LOVE IN CD REVIEW ON ROCK N ROLL UNIVERSE

It’s hard to believe this is the same band that 20 years earlier were running around barefoot on a stage of broken beer bottles playing revved up covers of “Sunshine Of Your Love,” "Don’t Fear the Reaper,“ and Gimme Shelter”. The new CD is pretty much the same top 40 sound as their last 3 or 4 CD’s. They do a good version of Supertramp’s “Give a Little Bit”(once again aimed at the top 40 fans)which is the strongest track on the CD.
Other stand out tracks are “Stay With You” & “We’ll Be Here When You’re Gone”.
The CD has great sound combining acoustic & electric guitars but on a scale of 1-5
I give the new CD 2 ½ Z’s (as in …zzzzz!)
